Works like a charm for both big and small fish. Ive caught fish as small as perch to as large as salmon with this rod holders. I also have a fairly large rod but the adjustable strap allows me to fit it in perfectly. Although the success rate is not always perfect, it does it's job well enough and I can sit back and relax as automation does the job of setting the hook for me. I recommend this product.

literally read all the reviews before buying and I wasnt dissapointed. They were mainly positive reviews and the rod stald/holder/fish hooker works as intended! As soon as I got my item in the mail i went to go and try it out, soon enough my rod was getting little nibbles. I waited a bit and then Fish ON!!! It was a small mouth bass!! Im pretty impressed with it and would highly reccomend to anyone who loves to go fishing or for beginners too!

First-time use last night and it works great and loves to use. I can't wait to use it until next weekend.

First day used got a 6.5 lb carp. Its not huge but the fact of the matter is the carp took it and the hook setter keep it. Thats worth it for me.

This is a heavy duty all Metal pole holder. Top of the line. Easy to put together, very durable when the big fish take off and the rod is still in the holder. The adjustable screw for height difference is made of Metal and is easy to adjust. No more wet poles from sitting on the ground, up off the ground 8-10 inches and in midair. Great product for kids, parents and anyone that has never fished before.

Finally got to see this rod holder in action and I gotta admit it was pretty cool. It’s strurdy, well made, easy to use and it even holds 4’8 ultra light rods. The trigger system works well and it sets the hook nicely for you. So far I’ve used it for a split shot rig set up while trout fishing and even with lots of line slack the system doesn’t fail and still sets the hook for you. I bought this for fishing from shore, both lake and saltwater bay fishing. I checked to see that my rods would fit, they did. It seems sturdy and should last a long time. Folded flat it just fits in my soft sided tackle bag.

It works great. Took it to a local river and was worried it might spring up due to the current....it didn't. It sprang up when the fish was on though. Love it.

My friends laughed when I pulled it out to set up, and it took a little bit to figure out how it worked. BUT after a few minutes of playing with it, it was catching fish just as advertised. The best thing was that it was hooking them perfectly. No swallowing the hook or missing. I was using it on black drum and they r the most tricky fish that usually takes a lot of bait. I was pulling them out left and right.

I ABSOLUTELY Love these pole holders! I’ve had them for a couple months now, and used then about 8 or 10 times. I am using them on deep water/heavy current fishing in the Mississippi River. The are VERY capable of detecting and hooking fish. And Very LARGE fish as well. No need to sit right there and watch my pole. And have even left them out all night, and had a fish hooked still in the morning. The line pulls the trigger on the pole causing it to fly up and then it holds steady, not allowing any slack for the fish to get off. Great & Exciting way to fish!

I have bought 12 of these. I own 4 and the rest have been gifts to fishing buddies. I bought them for everyone because THEY CATCH FISH! They’re super easy to use and also are very sensitive (when you want them to be).

There are several of these on the market. Each one a little different. I have tried 4 different models and this model here is by far the best one. It seems to work great and the trigger is pretty sensitive. The others had mechanical issues or the trigger would not lock in place. These are the ones to get.
