My free motion quilting had jerky starts and stops. This tool makes it possible to produce smooth, beautiful patterns. Takes a little practice to get comfortable (I practiced on a small table runner.) Set my speed on slow to medium and stitches are even. Instructions are included on the instruction booklet with all the info in one place. Sturdy and easy to create a continuous line of stippling.

This template is a bit thicker than some of my others. It's very sturdy. I have used it to stitch a quilting pattern. Also used it as tracing tool for a couching pattern on my newest tea cozy, worked super for that. The pricing was very reasonable.
